The Career centre at my school created by USAID and YES Network allowed me to volunteer. I developed a logo and motto of the career center. The programme "Preparation for employment and work" was my choice as part of the extracurricular activities, and I acquired various competences and skills. It was my greatest motivation and challenge to implement workshops according to the modules of that programme, as well as presentations that promote the work of the career center.
Volunteer work
I acquired communication skills and self-disclosure skills thanks to the programme "Learning by doing", which links the theory with reality. I made contacts with the business sector by monitoring the tasks required for the job, making a research and gathering information on the qualifications needed to seek, obtain and maintain a specific job, as well as the employment opportunities.
